An Overview of the Home Purchase Process

The loan process to purchase a home has many steps. The walkthrough below provides an overview of that process. We would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have along the way.

Loan officer takes application from customer.

Initial disclosures are provided and the loan goes to the underwriter for initial review.

Loan is sent to processing.

Step 4

Step Four

Loan is sent for final underwriting.

Step 5

Step Five

If applicable, the Loan Estimate must be signed and returned to obtain clear to close.*

Step 6

Step Six

Initial Closing Disclosure signed and returned.*

Step 7

Step Seven

Loan closing is scheduled.

*A delay in returning the signed copies may postpone closing.
