Our Quick and Easy 4 Step Application and Approval
Process
1. Select a Mortgage Consultant
Begin by selecting one of our mortgage consultants
or fill out our general contact form. Your
mortgage consultant
will help you determine which loan best suits your needs
and will enroll you in the
Nation's #1 Home Finding Service. Whether you are a
first time homebuyer, or a seasoned veteran, Hallmark
provides you with the full range of mortgage products at
the most competitive rates available.
2. Complete Your Application for Free
Pre-Approval
Pre-approval indicates that you have been
approved for a set loan amount prior to property
selection. Click here to view a list of documents that
may be required to complete your application.
Simply fill out the quick and easy form online. Your
information will go straight into our system. Your
mortgage consultant will call you for authorization to
obtain your credit report. After verifying the
documents, the file goes to our in-house underwriters.
All decisions are made at Hallmark. Local
decision-making power allows us to give you an answer
usually within 24 hours or less!
You will then receive a pre-approval letter to enhance
your buying power. Your Realtor® will use that letter to
negotiate the best deal for you.
3. Loan Processing and Closing
With the help
of your Realtor® you have found your dream home, you
have a signed contract with the seller, and now it’s
time for us to arrange the property appraisal. Hallmark
uses local appraisers which give you more accurate
property data for your area.
Once final approval is issued, your closing will be
scheduled.
A title company is typically selected by your real
estate professional or the seller. The title company's
job is to ensure clear title to your property and handle
the closing of your loan. Your mortgage consultant will
attend your closing to ensure an efficient, pleasant and
ultimately rewarding experience.
4. The last step... Enjoy your new home!
