I graduated from Indiana University in 1981, and moved back to Bloomington in 1998 to marry a childhood classmate from South Bend. As a former owner of USA Mortgage Funding, I have been originating loans locally for 12 years. I have been in sales/sales management all of my life. The most consistent goal I have always tried to live by is: “the client’s needs come first”! 

At the age of 44, I became a first-time Dad and I am very active in all of my son’s activities. I have coached baseball at Winslow for the last six years and have coached at the Sportplex for the last four years. My family attends Trinity Episcopal Church on Kirkwood Ave. as I have been a life long Episcopalian. My focus outside of work is my family! My next passion is IU sports, GO IU!

The best aspect of being a loan officer is sitting at the closing table with first time homebuyers and seeing the excitement in their eyes. I truly love that point in the process, when the sellers hand the keys of the house to the new homeowners! The sense of accomplishment is extremely satisfying as I know that I was an integral part of this momentous occasion.

I’m always accessible to my clients, even evenings and weekends, to answer your most important questions. (And, according to my wife, I miss way too many dinners talking on the phone with clients!)
