I have been around the real estate business most of my life. My father was a career Realtor®, my wife Kathy has been a Realtor® for seventeen years and prior to entering the mortgage business I was a Realtor® for five years. As a Realtor® I referred as much of my business as possible to Waterfield Mortgage. When I decided to enter the mortgage business in 2000, I joined Waterfield. I truly believe I learned the business from the best in the industry. As a result, joining Hallmark Home Mortgage was a very easy and exciting decision to make.

I really enjoy making the entire mortgage loan process as simple as possible. Buying a home is often misperceived as a stressful event when it doesn't have to be at all. Choosing the right people to work with makes all the difference (read our client testimonials). Hallmark's in-house underwriting, processing and closing makes it easy to provide solutions in a much more efficient and trusted manner. We have one chance to provide a "WOW" experience for everyone involved in the transaction. I'm both proud and excited to work for a company that not only understands but also delivers on promises made to our clients and referral partners.

When I'm not at work, my favorite things in the world are spending time with my family, socializing with easy-going fun people, vacations anywhere in the Caribbean, Indian Lake in the summer, Jimmy Buffet, Springsteen or The Rolling Stones on the radio, "The Ohio State Buckeyes", my hot tub in the dead of winter, Thursday happy hour, listening to my son Cuyler rock out on the guitar, my gorgeous daughter Kelsey's face when she is in a happy-go-lucky mood, and most recently an incredible Bloody Mary at Sunday brunch….just to name a few!
