My wife Penny and I have 7 beautiful children ranging in age from 3 to 18! My only real hobby is golf, which I try to squeeze in on Monday nights, in between chasing the kids to their sporting events nearly every night!

Prior to my mortgage originating career, I spent 15 years in the restaurant business. I had two coffeehouse/deli’s and a brewery/steakhouse which was inconceivably demanding and required too much time away from my family.

I began my mortgage originating career in 1997. After a brief stay with GMAC Mortgage, I moved to Waterfield Financial which was acquired by American Home Mortgage in 2006. A year later, I joined many of my Waterfield friends with Hallmark Home Mortgage. I am happy to be a part of a company that is filled with wonderful, experienced professionals, helping our clients achieve their dream of homeownership!

I received accounting and business degrees from Lansing Community College, and also spent time at Michigan State University and Central Michigan University, in between extended trips to the Colorado Rockies!

I am a former Isabella County Fair Board member and President, and previously served on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. I am a longstanding member of the Optimist Club, and former Exchange Club member and past President. In 1994, I chaired the Timbertown Playscape Committee, which led our community in building a huge children’s playground at Island Park in just 7 days! I am also a member of the Central Michigan Board of Realtors and the Homebuilder’s Association of Central Michigan.

I specialize in FHA loans, first time Homebuyer’s programs and stick built, modular, and manufactured new home construction.

My customer service philosophy is to provide the ultimate buying experience for every client, from application to closing. I give them a positive experience that they will share with friends and family. It’s a sincere approach, catered to the client’s lending needs and interests.
