I’ve been in the mortgage lending industry for
the past 15 years. I started out with Waterfield
Financial as a closer and moved into managing a
team of processors for the East Coast. While
working in our Operations Center, I was able to
gain knowledge of many different facets of the
mortgage business. When Waterfield shut their
doors in 2006, I jumped at the opportunity to
become an originator for American Home Mortgage
in Fairfax, Virginia. As changes occurred in the
mortgage industry, we decided it was best to
move our family back to our home town of Fort
Wayne, where I could continue to grow in my
sales career with Hallmark Home Mortgage.
As a sales associate, I work as a team alongside
Michelle Smekens. My goal is to treat others as
they would like to be treated, so I take special
care in helping educate individuals through the
home buying process. I particularly enjoy
helping first time homebuyers through the
process of buying or building their first home
and seeing the joy it brings to their family the
day of closing.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family.
My oldest daughter is attending college in
Bloomington and my two youngest are working
their way through Carroll High School. Annually,
we make it a point to spend time vacationing
together at the beach and running the mini-marathon and 5k in Indianapolis. As a
family we enjoy taking time to raise money for
the American Cancer Society by participating in
our local Relay for Life walk each year.
I’m excited to work at Hallmark Home Mortgage
because we have a dynamic team of qualified and
caring professionals who work round the clock to
make things happen for our clients. They are
like an extension of my own family.
