For 25 years I’ve worked in public and private
lending doing everything from originating and
processing to compliance and audits. In 1999 I
had the opportunity to move into the compliance
and audit department at Waterfield Mortgage
where I was responsible for quality control loan
reviews. This area of the mortgage process fits
my skill set perfectly and I truly enjoy being a
quality control analyst here at Hallmark Home
Mortgage.
Even though I am not dealing directly with
customers on a daily basis, I work hard to
provide the best service and assistance to my
colleagues so they can do their jobs
effectively. This internal attitude of
assistance encourages an overall spirit of
cooperation, which works its way to the
frontline staff and results in the great
mortgage experience that our customers have come
to expect.
When I’m not at work, you’ll find me with my
wife Carole at our home in Decatur, Indiana
where I enjoy doing yard work, walking, visiting
with neighbors, going to Tin Caps baseball
games, and rooting for the Boilermakers and
Colts. When travelling, I like to visit historic
and architectural sites.
The most enjoyable thing about working at
Hallmark is that I get to rejoin my former
Waterfield team, and we all work together every
day to make the company the best it can be for
our customers.
