Dan Schreiber - CFO

I graduated from IPFW in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and in 2006 I received my CPA license in the State of Indiana.  After working in public accounting as an auditor and tax preparer for approximately ten years, I spent five years as the controller for a publicly traded company.  I am pleased to use that experience in my current position as CFO for Hallmark Home Mortgage.
 
When people come to me with questions or concerns, I want to be as helpful as possible and always try and impart some of my knowledge whenever I can.  I want the person to understand the reason behind any explanation I give so that in the future they can make sound financial decisions.
 
I am married to a wonderful lady and have two great children who keep us very busy; and thanks to my wife and daughter, we also have a menagerie of pets!  We attend Avalon Missionary Church in Waynedale, and I volunteer on a board of directors for a not-for-profit located in Fort Wayne.  Outside of work, I enjoy taking the kids to parks and zoos around the tri-state region and working around the house.
