I attended Southwestern Michigan College studying Business Administration. I started my working career as a final flute finisher at Gemeinhardt in Elkhart, Indiana.

May of 1998 I entered the mortgage industry. I have a strong background in FHA loans, of which, 99% of the loans at my previous employer were FHA.

I have two children, my daughter Carlie 11, and my 8 year old son Jocelyn. My wife Christi and I operate an alpaca farm and we love animals. We have 27 pets: 10 alpacas, 2 llamas, a parrot, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 sugar gliders, a chinchilla, 2 fish, 2 rabbits and a pot-belly pig!

I am a huge Michigan Wolverine fan and attend most home football games each year. However, being surrounded by Notre Dame fans in South Bend, I have to keep a low profile. I volunteer on the Mishawaka Little League Board and coach each of my children’s little league teams.

I believe that it is important for my customers to fully understand all aspects of their loan. I have not served my client if I don’t make the transaction simple and straightforward. I believe in returning phone calls or emails promptly and in giving out my mobile number in order to be available.
